My Story
Born of desperation to find relief from pain, the skincare crafted at S.O.S. is what I use everyday. It is gentle skincare, designed for sensitive skin, and made with the whole body in mind. It is free of synthetic ingredients, soy, and hydrogenated oils.

We work hard to locate the best quality ingredients available to us, because we use the products too; we don’t want anything less for us, we don’t want anything less for you. We are committed to crafting products that are gentle, suitable for sensitive skin, and that may be used with peace of mind.
At S.O.S. Holistic Skincare we believe that quality ingredients are very important, but we also hold that topical skincare is only part of the process. In order to best care for the skin it is important to care for the body as a whole; both the internal and the external.
As we view the human body holistically, so we also appreciate that mentality in regards to the earth. We recognize that we are indeed connected to the earth. We absorb, i.e. consume, breathe, & touch, the things that the earth offers. At S.O.S. we source ingredients of the earth, and if we wish to benefit from those substances then we must care for the earth. Whatever we give to our bodies, that is what our bodies have to work with. Whatever we give the earth, that is what the earth has to work with. Our goal is to give both body and earth the best that we are able to in order for them to function the best that they possibly can.
It is our hope that the care and thought that we put into these products can give you confidence and peace in your choices, and help to make your skin care experience a beautiful one.
Cold Pressed Oils
WE NEVER use Hydrogenated, or Partially Hydrogenated Oils. We use Cold Pressed Oils in our products because this process allows the oils to retain their beneficial properties.
Non-Comedogenic
We have chosen to not use carrier oils above a Comedogenic Rating of 2, making the products Non-Comedogenic, which means they are unlikely to clog pores.
Raw/Natural
We source locally grown ingredients as much as possible. We select ingredients that have undergone minimal processing. Common ingredients include: herbs, flowers, honey, oils, butters, and clays.
Essential Oils
We use Essential oils with great care and caution. While we value the benefits that can come from these particular ingredients, we are also aware that they are very concentrated, and even a beneficial thing may become harmful if used in excess. So we use these beautiful distillations carefully, being sure to dilute them in a safe manner.
Labeling
We take great care in our labeling because we understand that transparency is vital to safe, confident selection, and EVERYTHING that we put inside the container is disclosed on the label.
Out of care for our customers we go a step further. While we do follow the INCI standard in labeling, we also appreciate that not everyone is used to this, and so we offer literature with the common names as well so that our customers may decide which products to use with peace of mind.
